Além de viver dentro desse bairro, os judeus também eram enterrados dentro dele. O cemitério existente dentro do bairro logo ficou lotado, e na falta de espaço a solução foi a remoção de todas as lápides para que uma nova camada de terra fosse depositada por cima. As lápides antigas foram recolocadas e novas foram surgindo.

The solution for the lack of space was remove the old tombstones and put a new layer of dirt for put more bodys ,the old tombstones were relocated and emerged new ones.

Casa Dançante/Dancing House
A Casa Dançante encontra-se no local que anteriormente era ocupado por um edíficio Neo-Renascentista, destruido por um bombardeamento em 1945. Foi preciso esperar até 1960 para que os escombros do anterior prédio fossem removidas, e mais 34 anos até que a construção da actual estrutura se iniciasse.
The Dancing House is in the place that previously was ocupated by a Neo-Renaissance,destroyed by a bombing in 1945.It was necessary wait to 1960 for remove the debris of the old building and more 34 years for iniciate the construction of the actual structure.
